Córdoba lies in central Argentina. Córdoba city lies at the centre of many connections. Neither sentence means that the entire province is close to everything.
Arrival solves entry. Choosing a territory solves the journey.
Territorial principle
You may arrive in the city and continue towards the sierras, the north, Ansenuza, the plains or the south. You may also enter through another corridor. Choose the region before purchasing the final leg: Córdoba tolerates improvisation, but does not always reward it.

Entry through Ambrosio Taravella
Córdoba International Airport is the air gateway to the capital. From there, one decision remains: stay in the city or continue towards another part of the province.
Check flights, access and services with the airport operator. The Republic manages cultural confidence; commercial aviation is, fortunately, someone else’s jurisdiction.

Entry through Córdoba’s terminals
Terminals 1 and 2 form the capital’s main land-transport hub, connecting national, provincial and intercity services.
Confirm company, platform, luggage rules and departure building on the ticket. Córdoba has two terminal buildings; intuition is not a recognised boarding document.

Entry with your own territory
The road network links Córdoba with every major region of Argentina. The right approach depends on the final destination, weather and actual road conditions.
Plan the complete corridor and check official conditions. In the sierras, a moderate distance may include bends, altitude, fog or gravel: maps count kilometres; the mountains allocate time.
First decision after arrival
The airport and terminals lead into a city that can largely be explored without a private vehicle. It is the simplest base for heritage, museums, food and nearby first departures.
Punilla, Calamuchita, Traslasierra and Sierras Chicas do not share a single entrance. Choose the valley first and the means of arrival second; reversing that order produces kilometres and unnecessary literature.
Córdoba does not end where the mountains disappear. Ansenuza, the historic north, the Pampa Gringa and Río Cuarto require regional corridors and often their own overnight base.
